All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

Our Therapeutic Treatments

Therapeutic Treatments for Opioid Abuse

To serve as an additional means of treatment for those who are addicted to opioids, we, at Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center, provide specific therapeutic interventions to those who seek help from us. To supply each patient with the greatest chance of overcoming opioid dependency, we feel it is critical to help them develop an understanding of the emotional and psychological causes that have contributed to their opioid abuse. When individuals only obtain treatment that focuses on the physical aspects of addiction, he or she runs the risk of relapsing and staying stuck in the dangerous pattern of substance abuse. At Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center, we do everything in our power to provide our patients with medication and the recovery skills needed to address addiction as a whole, which ultimately allows them to regain control over their lives once more.

When an individual begins abusing substances such as prescription pain medications or heroin, he or she typically does so in response to emotional pain or psychological upset that he or she is experiencing. If turmoil continues to run rampant through an individual’s life, he or she is bound to continue abusing his or her substance of choice, making it much harder to recover. Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center realizes that almost all of our patients have battled with some form of emotional distress that has likely added to their opioid abuse. Therefore, we supply the treatment necessary to help these individuals work through their emotional pain and begin developing lasting recovery skills. The services that we offer that are known to greatly benefit those looking to recover from an opioid addiction include:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
